## What changed - Use `https://api.openai.com/v1` for WebRTC sideband websocket joins instead of deriving the URL from the model provider. - Keep `experimental_realtime_ws_base_url` as an explicit sideband override for local development and tests. - Exclude provider query parameters when building sideband URLs. ## Testing - Add coverage that a frameless sideband join uses `wss://api.openai.com/v1/live/rtc_test` even when the provider points at the ChatGPT backend. - Update the sideband retry end-to-end test to inject its mock server URL through the new override. codex-api
Typed clients for Codex/OpenAI APIs built on top of the generic transport in codex-client.
- Hosts the request/response models and request builders for Responses and Compact APIs.
- Owns provider configuration (base URLs, headers, query params), auth header injection, retry tuning, and stream idle settings.
- Parses SSE streams into
ResponseEvent/ResponseStream, including rate-limit snapshots and API-specific error mapping. - Serves as the wire-level layer consumed by
codex-core; higher layers handle auth refresh and business logic.
